How I get to Tibet and Experience Fantastic Views?

I have been thinking about the best time to go to Tibet. When will it be? Most people on the Internet choose to enter Tibet in July and August, while I choose to go in June. The reason why I choose to go to Tibet in June is to avoid the crowds and avoid the rainy season, so as to ensure the smooth passage! In fact, June is the most beautiful and safe time to visit Tibet. Blue sky and white clouds are the most sincere greetings in June! So what are the must-see places to visit in Tibet? How to arrange the schedule? Is there anything special need to attention? These are the problems I faced before I set out for Tibet.

I collected some information about traveling in Tibet and got to know Great Tibet Tour, a Tibet travel Agency of on the Internet. I consulted and communicated with them a lot, and got some preliminary understanding of Tibet. Never seen, but she is exquisite, caring service make me to give her thumb up. Finally, I choose their group tour package and decide to go to Tibet by train.

This is one of the most beautiful train routes. I fell in love with Tibet before I arrived in Lhasa. All passengers sit on this train line the first time are picked up their mobile phones to the window to shot the scenery along the way. There are also photographers in the train carriage distance shooting. We only want to freeze the most beautiful moment!

Lhasa is the capital of Tibet autonomous region and the political, economic, cultural and religious center of Tibet. It is one of the highest cities in the world, and people say it is the city of sunlight. The simplest reason is that at 3,658 meters above sea level, the air is thin, the moisture content is low, but there is no dust. On a clear day, the sun is bright. Looking at the snow peaks in the distance, the sky is clear and blue. In Lhasa at June, the sky is blue with clear water and the shade of green trees is thick. Under the sunshine, I look up at the clear blue sky and the flowing white clouds. I do nothing just in a daze and feel satisfied.

Potala palace, the symbol of Tibet, is the existing complete palace castle architectural complex in Tibet, known as one of the world’s top ten earth buildings. Entering the Potala palace is a dream. Potala palace has a distinct Tibetan style and its architectural achievements have attracted worldwide attention. In order to better protect the Potala palace, the daily flow of tourists is limited to relieve the pressure on the Potala palace. Potala palace is divided into the White House and the red palace. The White House, with its white outer wall, is the place where Lamas live and conduct political activities. Because the sun shines all day long here, it called the sunlight hall. The red palace is located in the center of the top of the Potala palace. After the death of the monks from the fifth (except the sixth), the pagoda is enshrined in the red palace of the Potala palace. The potala palace is built on a hill with overlapping buildings. It is a mammoth and magnificent palace, which is really a human miracle and a visual treasure. It is a palace of art.

Standing at the top of the Potala palace, overlooking the whole city of Lhasa, the whole city of Lhasa is covered with new buildings hidden in green trees. Prayer flags and mulberry smoke are flying in the Barkor Street

There are many angles to appreciate the Potala palace, but in the snow area, the Potala palace in front of you is even more magnificent and impressive! It’s the greatness and wisdom of ancient architects more than 300 years ago. Living in the Potala palace, I am the King in the snow area! This shows the Potala palace’s status. Potala palace is still a place people yearn for. Come to Lhasa, Potala palace is a place you are bound to visit, perhaps because of its fame, perhaps because of its story.

When I came to Lhasa, I knew that “Jokhang temple came before Lhasa city”.

Jokhang Temple is the center of Lhasa people’s life. Everything they do revolve around it. The Barkhor Street around Jokhang temple is called “Lhasa”, which means “Buddha land”.

Chanting, mumbling and blue sky white clouds, red house white tile, the beautiful looks untrue. Faith is the only thing here. The piety on people’s faces is the most real reflection of Jokhang temple. If you go to Lhasa and don’t go to Jokhang temple, you haven’t been to Lhasa.

Jokhang temple, regarded as the birthplace of countless Tibetans, is one of the most brilliant Tubo period buildings in Tibet. Here, you can be moved and admired by the Tibetan people’s faith from the bottom of your heart.

The most stylish street is Barkhor Street. It’s famous in Lhasa and all over the world. It is a circular street built around the Jokhang temple. More than 1,300 years of Lhasa’s history are condensed into this less than 2 kilometers long Old Street. If Jokhang temple is the heart of Lhasa, Barkhor Street is the aorta connecting the heart.

Maggie amie: Cangyang Gyatso and lovers meeting place in the legend. It has become a must go place in Tibet. The store has full-bodied Tibetan style amorous feelings, a lot of message books are put on window sill, if you have time, and it’s a kind of enjoyment to drink tea here.

Draksum-tso Lake

The most unique place is in the middle of the lake there is a monastery island, the island has a temple, called Tsodzong Monastery.

Legend has it that this island is floating on the lake, and not connected with the bottom of the lake, is a “hollow island”. However, I walk on the island, it is a sense of down-to-earth, did not realize that the island is hollow island.

Draksum-tso Lake is a place full of green, green mountains, green water, forests…The moment that enters here, imitate if stepped into the world fairyland like misty rainy Jiangnan! It is the “Oriental Switzerland”!

Namcha Barwa Moutain

The peak is covered with snow all year round. The peak of the glacier towering, beautiful shape, the mountain often cloud shrouded, never easy to show the true face, so it is known as the “ashamed peak”. At the foot of the mountain is the lush vegetation of southern Tibet, beautiful scenery!

Yamdroke Lake

Drive along the mountain with sinuous 130 kilometers of scenery. Beautiful, serene, mysterious, looming, from what point of view can you not see the whole picture of Yamdrok. The Yamdroke water is as blue as mirror. Lakeside water is rich of grass; it is a rich plateau pasture.

Local Tibetans use folk songs to praise Yamdrok

The fairyland in heaven and the Yamdrok on earth

The stars in the sky and the cows and sheep by the lake

The surrounding snow mountain snow all year round, as one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, indeed not waves worthy of the name, the beautiful is breathtaking!

The water of Yamdrok Lake is surprisingly blue, with different layers of rich blue depending on the moment of sunlight. And what’s amazing is that the color of the lake varies from moment to moment

Yamdroke is located in Longkash County in the southern part of Tibet. The lake is 4,441 meters above sea level, with a total coastline of 250 kilometers. It is the largest inland lake in the northern foothills of the Himalayas. It means “swan pond” in Tibetan

Everest Base camp

Guacolla pass ~ also known as Dingri boundary, 5248 meters above sea level, is the only way to the world’s highest peak, Mount Qomolangma, located on national highway 318, here is also the mountain pass of Mount Qomolangma national nature reserve. Standing here, the top half of the view is pure blue sky and white clouds, the bottom half is drab red and gray, except for the gray mountain road, almost no trace of life.

When you stand in the Everest base camp, see the true face of the moment, no other feeling but fear the holy Everest.

The summit of the world, so lofty and holy, but not within sight, can be witnessed at Everest base camp, this life is no regret

As the highest mountain in the world, which means “the third goddess” in Tibetan, it is located at the border between China and Nepal in Dingri county, Shigatse region. Her 8844.43 meters above sea level unique independent figure, like a magnet to attract people, let them come here in an endless stream to realize their dreams.

There is no permanent building at Everest base camp, so accommodation is temporary tents, so a night on Everest tent is an unforgettable memory of life!

This way is not easy, but every second will become the most unforgettable life experience in the future. When leaving, is full of reluctant and nostalgia.

Tashilhunpo temple, which means “auspicious sumermi temple” in Tibetan, is located in Shigatse at the foot of Nishseri Mountain. It has a history of more than 500 years. It is one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism and the mother temple of erdeni panchen. In the 12th year of the Ming dynasty, disciple gendun of zongkaba was the master of the construction.Tashilhunpo monastery is listed as one of the six major monasteries of the gelug sect along with Gandan Monastery, Sera Monastery, Drepung monastery, Ta’er Monastery in Qinghai and Labuleng Monastery in Gansu.

The monastery is built on a hill and it’s the largest temple in the area. You can listen to the Buddha’s whisper walking along the quiet path.

In the complex of Tashilhunpo temple, there is a tall building with narrow side and square front, which stands out. It is used to display the colorful embroidered Buddha statue during the buddhist festival. It is a major characteristic of Tashilhunpo Temple

Namtso, which means “heavenly lake” in Tibetan, is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet. The clear lake is sparkling under the refraction of sunlight. On this plateau, Namtso is quiet, like a painting of pure color. The scenery here is the most pristine blue water and blue sky.

Namtso Lake 4718 meters above sea level, Namtso south bank is Nienqing Tanggula Mountain; north bank is endless lakeside grassland. Staying in Namtso, one’s soul is thoroughly washed by the pure lake water.
